IMPORT REPORT
The product:
Limpet Saddle Pad.
The Claim:
This pad molds to your horse’s shape, eliminating friction. Its
open-cell composition allows heat to pass through, which forms a
no-slip bond between your horse, the pad, and your saddle. (Walk
your horse under saddle for about 10 minutes before you begin your
work out to give the pad a chance to lock onto his back. For faster
adhesion, wipe the pad with a wet cloth before you saddle up.) The
pad is made from hygienic, nontoxic materials, so it won’t irritate
his skin.

H&R
Test: Our tester, a professional trainer, found this
pad—as claimed—offered support and cushion. And, it didn’t
irritate his horse’s skin. Once his horse began to sweat,
creating heat, the pad locked into place. After a hard
workout, his horse didn’t suffer any hot spots (areas where
saddle pressure is so great, heat can’t escape, and
circulation is reduced). Heat and sweat were evenly
distributed beneath the pad |
